„Maroc Blues“ is the first single from the forthcoming second Web Web album “Dance Of The Demons”. The “german jazz super group” (Süddeutsche / SZ) invited the famous singer and Gembri player Majid Bekkas, who also performs on other tracks on the album. On “Maroc Blues” you can hear the warm sound of the Gembri’s resonating box – a three stringed skin-covered bass plucked lute used by the Gnawa people – together with Majids wonderful voice, reflecting the ancient trasition of the berbers. Web Web mastermind Roberto Di Gioia added some earthy elements for the radio version.
